Walk for Autism ~Charleston 2010~
April 17th 2010
Walk for Autism charleston is a not for profit organization which raises funds to help many
special children struggling wit Autism. Our primary goal is to fund scholarships for these families
to help pay for the treatment and intervention of autism through behavioral and relational
development programs.
How to get Involved
First: Decide to support WFA-C and the ever growing number of children diagnosed with Autism/ASD
by getting involved in our annual Walk for Autism-Charleston on April 17th with registration beginning at 9am.
Second: Determine if you want to take out a collection sheet to raise funds in honor of someone you
love, someone you work with or someone you know. And, you don't have
to complete a registration form or consider a donation; you will have done both just by collecting a few donations.
Third: Come celebrate our annual walk event. Bring friend; one who is interested, but never
asks... Look for posters, brochures, registration forms and collection sheets at all Great Clips locations and at many
other businesses; esp. hospital, doctor and therapy offices. Also, look for Autism related public service annoucements,
commercials and special programming on local and cable and network stations. ~Registrations are welcome the day of the walk~
